Heya buddies. Let me christen this comic with a bit of background.
Bean was conceived back when I was in the sixth grade (which was.... ::counts on fingers:: about 7 years ago). The very first ever comic wasn't drawn by me or my sister. Actually, it really wasn't even a comic. It was drawn by a good old friend of mine (who I'd like to get on this website if he'd ANSWER MY FRIGGIN IMs!), and featured a bean dressed like a rock-star in front of a large audience. After prompting the crowd with the question "Do you wanna FART?!" they all said "YEAH!!!" and you turned the page over to find a large atomic explosion. The second comic, also drawn by this friend, featured a pair of hands holding a bean. One hand squeezed it and it went "squeak." Then the other hand lit a match and sets it to the bean. After somebody screams "HIT THE DECK!!" you turn the page over to find yet another large atomic explosion.
After this point... my friend probably would have gone on with it himself, but then I inputted my own comic (which I can't really remember). From there, the two of us put our heads together and started drawing comic after random comic, slowly coming up with all of the bizarre characters along the way (most of them are, I must say, his fine creations). Unfortunatly, though, I've lost touch with that friend, but my sister and I have kept the comic alive up until now.
The odd thing is that most of the art seems to have been passed on as my sister's job. I myself haven't drawn a bean in ages. Whats even weirder is that I'm not very good at it anymore. I think I've gotten so used to drawing my highly detailed main characters that I can't "regress" myself and do something relatively simple. BUT, I beleive I might start taking a whack at it. Though all I can promise at this point is some incredibly random stuff that doesn't have anything to do with what little plot there is..... but hey, that's the way it originally was.
So, lets see what you people think.
