Still on hiatus since I've been really busy moving into a new apartment, got a new job teaching high shool science and adjusting to it all. Plus Darlos is in Japan right now having the time of his life, so check out his new site Darlos' Weblog and Gallery for his news, art and cool pictures of Japan! When I'm not working myself ragged, I do have a new webcomic project going over at Mortal Kombat Nightblood the RPG where I'm practing my webcomic drawing by illustrating what's been happening in that RPG so far... Go check it out and tell me what ya thing! Other than that, my art is being updated all the time, check out my deviantArt account for updates there... Later folks!

04:18:06:

Site on hiatus until I finish my Master's and get a job... Sorry folks - if there's anyone even left who visits... :(

10:04:05:

Holey Moley it's an update!! Yes folks, if you've noticed I've been messing with the layout of WZC and tweaking it a bit - or it could be your eyes. Anyway, there are no WZC Comic updates yet, but don't worry there will be, it's just life's been getting in the way and I've been trying to find the time to get a job, finish my Master's degree and draw comics to get WZC up to snuff again.

With that said, I'd like to mention that we're starting a new Awards thingy here, as we have awarded five of what I consider the best webcomics out there with Bean's "We're not worthy to be on your Website!" Award. This week's winners are: Kern with Drowtales, Sylvia with Wish3, Luka with Kagerou, Sarah with Inverloch, and last, but certainly not least, Lady Yates with The Saga of Earthsong. Check these comics out people as they are amazing and truly deserving of much more than our silly award. Well, that's it for now, party on and I'll yak at you all later.

Like always, if you have any comments, please feel free to bug up in the Forums!

3:21:05:

Updates last week and updates this week, oh wonders of wonders. =~.^= Especially considering I'm as sick as a dog and so far behind in work right now. Ah well. There will be another new Bean this week on Wednesday, and if I can muster it, new stuff in the Other Comics section. The Bean Contest will end this month as Darlos and I will announce the winner on April 1st. Thus, you still have a week and a half to enter!

Speaking of contests that are going on, check out Ghost 2138 as they're hosting a fan art contest where you can win the latest Final Fanatsy game! Plus their webcomic kicks major rear, so go check it out and give them some fan art lovin' as you never know, you might win a new FF game! Other comics I suggest you go check out are: Modern Sorcerer Shishiro and Inverloch, two beautiful comics you just need to check out.

Other than that, Please Vote for Weirdo Zone Comics! As a special treat this week, if you vote you will get to see some old Bean and Ninth Dimension art and comic pages. So check it out and feel free to tell us what you think on the Weirdo Zone Forums as always we like to hear from you! Well, to bed with me, enjoy the new stuff and party on!

2:24:05:

Hello again! Another update in one month, what is wrong with me? =~.^= But, yes, Bean has an update for this week, hope you like it, and in the Other Comics section I have started to put up some older and recent little comic scribbles in my section. Feel free to check it out and tell me what you think on theWeirdo Zone Forums!

We only have three entries for the Create A Bean Contest, so if you like Bean, please enter to win some prizes! However if I don't get any more entries soon I might extend the contest for another month... So if you could, spread the word about Weirdo Zone Comics and our ongoing Bean Contest! Well, I need to scoot, so party on my fellow Weirdos and until next time!

2:1:05:

Long time no nothin', eh? Well to make a long, boring story short, life happened and I couldn't do squat with Weirdo Zone Comics like I wanted to. Thus, sorry about that and we'll try to be more on time with updates in the future. However if you don't want to wait, please harass us on the new Weirdo Zone Forums!

However I'd like to get stright to the good news: The Create a Bean Contest! Yep, you heard right, we here at Weirdo Zone Comics would like to announce our first contest where you the readers get to compete for original artwork from us Weirdos here! Thus, here's the skinny:

See that? We want you, the readers, to send us what you think the two Beans should be saying! Please check out the rules and submit your entry at this link on Weirdo Zone Forums. Have fun and we hope to see some new faces around here! Party on everyone and hope to see you on the Forums!

9:12:04:

Hello Everyone. I know this site has fallen through the cracks over the last couple of months and I'm here to unfortunately tell you it's going to continue for a while yet.

The first reason I didn't update is because I moved in with my boyfriend (you might know him as Sol on the Weirdo Zone Forums) and we were just getting settled from that. But fate had something else in store for us as on Tuesday, September 7th at 10 PM Sol and I were evacuated from our new apartment. The lazy river that we thought nothing about that was across the street from us did something it hadn't done in the history of the town we live in. It flooded. Thanks to the remnants of Hurricane Frances eight feet of water went through the downstairs portion of our apartment.

We lost quite a bit, my stereo, TV, DVD/VCR player, Play Station 2, couch, entertainment center, drawing board, and my entire DVD and VHS collection is gone. Not to mention I lost most of my kitchen appliances and whatnot. But the big blows are the books and a good chunk of my art is lost. Plus there is no way to salvage the apartment; thus Sol and I had to part ways to find new places to live at the moment.

Now we're not saying what happened to us is worse than what other people have suffered with Hurricane Frances. I mean we were lucky as we saved our cars and ourselves and I do have insurance that should cover everything I lost. However, many of my neighbors did not have insurance and they lost everything they had. So if you must, please send out your best wishes for them, not us. We'll survive, try to build up our resources again and give it another go later on at living together.

Due to this both The Weirdo Zone and Weirdo Zone Comics are taking a backseat until I can get my life under control again. I am sorry, but under these circumstances I hope you can understand. If you want to be informed as to what's going on, please join Weirdo Zone Forums as my brother Darlos and I will keep everyone updated on what's going on with us.

On a lighter note, Darlos is sorry he isn't pumping out new pages for The Ninth Dimension, but he has his reasons as you can see here.

Well, until next time, have a WeIrD day and party on! =^.^=

7:27:04:

Well, it's been a wacky past week and first thing right off the bat, I do apologize for the lack of any updates last week. What happened is it was the last week of my summer Grad school courses and I had to get a ton of things done before they let us go for a bit of a break on Thursday. Thus, I'm finished for now until the end of August, so I can work on both The Weirdo Zone and Weirdo Zone Comics again!

Tons of things to tell you, first let me start with the major updates: I worked my tail off Thursday night, all Friday, all Saturday and all Sunday working on both sites getting a ton done. The big thing for this site is that now (back by popular demand) my old Mega Man X is back with a new look, a new page, and new art! Amazing, no? Plus on top of that I get to celibrate Weirdo Zone Comics' first affiliation with an outstanding Mega Man site: The Megaman Theme Sanctuary! Go check them out as they have such a great site up! As to how I got that, it's an interesting tale I'll regail on the Forums.

Other happy news is that Drowtales.com extended their comic deadline to August 4th, so with my time off I'll be wasting it on that so I can get it in! Wish me luck and I'll post the final results on the Other Comics section. I already have some preliminary art up here if you'd like to check it out and tell me what you think. I am such a feedback whore, I swear... =~.^=

There is a bit of sad news as the last of the Ninth Dimension pages I had went up yesterday as it's the end of the prologue, but don't fret yet. While Ninth Dimension is going to be taking a bit of a break until Darlos comes out with some new pages, which he expects to get some to me by the end of August, thus enjoy some of his new art in his Art Section. Well, that's about it in the way of news over here. Thanks for stopping by and I'll annoy you all later! =^.^=

7:7:04:

I hope everyone Stateside had a good 4th of July, and everyone else around the World as well, although you really don't do much on this date, but hey! I hope it was good anyway! Unfortunatly having some days off I went home and it messed my schedule up as I forgot what day was what, thus I missed the Ninth Dimension's update on Monday. Thus, I'm sorry, but I still think today is Tuesday as I get confused easily but it has been updated now along with a new Bean.

We didn't win the White Ninja Fan Comic Contest, but oh well. The top ten that were voted on were indeed hilarious and deserved to be the top ten. Our little comic will be put up sometime this month in the Fan Art section, so if you want go check it out there, or check it out here since it's closer. Other than that I'm still plugging away on my Drowtales.com comic entry, but I don't know if I'm going to make the deadline or not since something seems to pop up to distract me from it all the time... I'd also like to give a shout out to Bobkat, Sol, and Marqphex as it's their birthday month so Happy Birthday guys! Party on! Well, I need to scoot, so I'll yap at you later!

6:29:04:

I have to apologize for missing last week's Bean update. I just recently went back to school and on top of that I've been having scanner issues of late. At the moment I'm about to completely re-image my Mac as my new scanner software seems to have eaten it alive. It was a stroke of luck that I could get it going long enough to scan the new Beans in. Thus, I have updated Bean with a double comic to make up for missing last week and one of them is an entry into the 1,000th White Ninja Fan Comic Contest. Wish us luck!

Also in other news, I updated The Ninth Dimension a bit late as well, but now the newest page is up at well for your viewing pleasure. Plus I also am throwing my hat into the ring for a Manga contest over at Drowtales.com so wish me lots of luck for that since my Manga entry is going to be at least 20 pages long. What was I thinking? Well, I need to scoot, so I'll harass you all later (hopefully next time with a working computer and scanner!). Party on!

6:7:04:

Well, got a few things done this week, as I designed and put up the entire Other Comics section. It features some old comics that were done for a MUD both Darlos and I used to play and build for. I'll try to scan in some of my older comics that were false starts and slap them up there as well. Also you'll notice the start of regular updating as we hashed out the new schedule for when each comic gets updated. Which is:

The Ninth Dimension - Mondays
Bean - Wednesdays

Aside from that I've tried to spread the word about Weirdo Zone Comics, so if your visiting us for the first time, please feel free to put up a little blurb on the tag board on the side telling us what you think! Thanks, and there is still more to come! Yap at ya later!

5:30:04:

Happy Memorial Day Everyone! Jai actually got the HTML bug again as I did some major updates on here, if you haven't noticed the new and improved format. Plus out of the goodness of my heart I also fixed the Bean pages and on top of that I put up the rest of The Ninth Dimension website and put up a new page of the comic. Now I'm just waiting for filler to come from Darlos for the rest of the pages that just say "coming soon" on 'em. I mean, who wants to read, "coming soon"? I don't. On top of that amazing news, I also bought the domain name for the WZC as by tonight you can now reach us at www.weirdozonecomics.com!! Isn't that soooooo much easier to remember folks? Well, since I'll have nothing better to do for the rest of the week, expect much updating to come both here and on the main site (which means nothing will happen... or maybe it will... who knows?). Thus, have a great time grillin' food and be wEiRd!

4:9:04:

An update here, and update there, which is amazing considering how sick I've been. Being dizzy does not help with site design. Anyway, I got the page up with the comic descriptions and the Misc page that right now only has the site's rather poorly done banners on it. I'll make better ones as time goes on, it's just been a while with my GIF maker program and I'm not in my right mind. (But when am I ever?) Well, enjoy those small updates as all I have left is to get the rest of the comics' sites up now. Party on! *passes out*

4:7:04:

Heya buddies. Let me christen this comic update with a bit of background. Bean was conceived back when I was in the sixth grade (which was.... ::counts on fingers:: about 7 years ago). The very first ever comic wasn't drawn by me or my sister. Actually, it really wasn't even a comic. It was drawn by a good old friend of mine (who I'd like to get on this website if he'd ANSWER MY FRIGGIN IMs!), and featured a bean dressed like a rock-star in front of a large audience. After prompting the crowd with the question "Do you wanna FART?!" they all said "YEAH!!!" and you turned the page over to find a large atomic explosion. The second comic, also drawn by this friend, featured a pair of hands holding a bean. One hand squeezed it and it went "squeak." Then the other hand lit a match and sets it to the bean. After somebody screams "HIT THE DECK!!" you turn the page over to find yet another large atomic explosion. After this point... my friend probably would have gone on with it himself, but then I inputted my own comic (which I can't really remember). From there, the two of us put our heads together and started drawing comic after random comic, slowly coming up with all of the bizarre characters along the way (most of them are, I must say, his fine creations). Unfortunatly, though, I've lost touch with that friend, but my sister and I have kept the comic alive up until now. The odd thing is that most of the art seems to have been passed on as my sister's job. I myself haven't drawn a bean in ages. Whats even weirder is that I'm not very good at it anymore. I think I've gotten so used to drawing my highly detailed main characters that I can't "regress" myself and do something relatively simple. BUT, I beleive I might start taking a whack at it. Though all I can promise at this point is some incredibly random stuff that doesn't have anything to do with what little plot there is..... but hey, that's the way it originally was. So, lets see what you people think.

4:7:04:

Amazingly enough, there's already a huge update to report, as I have Bean up and running in it's new home. Go check it out and let me know what you think of it! I may still be changing things here and there, but still, the main bulk of it is up. One downside though, until I get the other sites up the way I want them (and the rest of this site for that matter) updates to the actual comic maybe on hiatus for a while. I do have a few buffer comics completed that I can upload on the go to keep you content, but I'd rather get The Ninth Dimension up and running as well as MMX up again and the templates for The Dreaming first. Either way, wish me luck!!

4:1:04:

Well, as you can see, I've finally got the main page up for Weirdo Zone Comics. Not exactly what I originally had in mind, but I think it works quite well. It's slow going, but I hope to have everything ready for public debute by the end of the month. Here's to hoping!
