He stands over the shattered remains of the Temple of the Goddess with a forlorn look in his hazel eyes. He looks quite human, his skin fair but slightly weathered and mostly hidden under his deep black robes. His long hair tossed gently by the soft winds that passes over the once beautiful marble columns and pillars. The red/brown mane slightly un-kept and the bangs brushing against his face as he contemplates what was built by his hands. Which now lay in ruin around him.

I could not save this. I could not even foresee its destruction. But nothing so important can be destroyed as long as least one of the Knights remembers. As long as at least one of us remains to rebuild.

It takes time, but the lone figure manages to clear the debris and erect a new circle of large marble pillars on the old foundation. His dark purple Wyrdsaber carves the resistant stone with a skill born only of his dedication to the Odd Republic. When the circle is complete he smiles softly and sits down to await new converts.

I am HorusRe, First of the Knights of the Wyrd. What was broken is forged anew. We are the guardians of the Wyrd, the power that runs through all Weirdoes? It binds us and penetrates us and binds this Galaxy together. We are the defenders of the Goddess of the Wyrd, her chosen agents of Odd that guide and lead the Republic of Weird. We are few but powerful in our voice. And we are fewer still. Our order having suffered an attack by an unknown dark power called Hacker. But we shall rise again. Who is with me?

Raises his Wyrdsaber towards the heavens and lets itç—´ violet glow fill the area with its beacon. The white marble pillars blooming with color and serving to draw prospective Knights from far and wide.

Sooo, who wants a Wyrdsaber? All that it takes is a post count over 25! Everyone starts out with a red Saber of course. :wink: Hey, we are not Jedi! 8) Keep the posts coming and graduate up to the other colors (say 50 for orange, 75 for yellow, 100 green... see a pattern starting?). Long REIGN the Goddess and the God of the Star! Long LIVE her kin, the master of Wyrd! :wink: Rock on!

HorusRe looks long at the newcomer that stands in the Temple. His eyes emotionless and calm. Through his silence the First Knight gauages the sincerity of this prospective neonate.

" Return to the temple when you have walked the path of a Knight and I shall present thee with one of the training Wyrdsaber. " He says softly. He then waves the initiate off with an absent gesture combining blessing with dismissal.

As I write this I am at 49 posts. I'm shooting for 100! :wink: It's just a matter of time and persistance. :) I'm trying to see if I can get up to the level that made me a Knight in the first place.

HorusRe notices the glow of Angel's crimson Wyrdsaber from across time and space. His senses locked into the particular energy that is released when one of the weapons is activated. And a slight smile crosses his placid features. He knows that he is no longer alone. A neonate has walked the path of the Wyrd and has attained the required mastery of the powers that the Wyrd brings.

Walking slowly over to the northern-most collumn he lights his own indigo weapon and lets the blade flash over the marble surface. The blade blurring into a pattern of violet color as it scores the stone for all time. The name of the new Knight carved into the immortal stone. He then salutes his fellow Knight by raising his Wyrdsaber high.

" And so another member of the Odd Republic joins the order of the Knights. Another individual that knows the true calling of the Wyrd and follows her heart to the ultimate end. Let no one dare oppose her for she walks in the valley of Joy and sings from the peaks of the Mountains of Strength. Angel, newest of the Knights of the Odd Republic! "
