Why is this RPG so slow?

Yes, it's true, sometimes this RPG runs like molasses in January, then has spurts of tons of posting, then goes dormant again for months. The reason for this is because players have to contend with Real Life ('RL' as we call it) and that normally takes precedence over an online RPG. So far we've kept this sucker running for over Two Years - far longer than most play-by-post RPGs we know of - hence we must be doing something right. Thus, if the RPG goes into a lull, don't freak out and call us dead as it's more likely something in the player's Real Life has to be dealt with first. If you can't handle that fact - Get a life!
